Rowan's "Summer Indoor Fun for the Hospital" Project

Being stuck in the hospital isn't necessarily a child's idea of a fun time, especially during the Summer months, but Rowan aims to change that for the children at Methodist Children's Hospital in San Antonio this Summer.  He helped me come up with ideas for fun, typically outdoor activities that patients could do indoors, inside their hospital room.  Bringing the outside... in... to their hospital rooms.  This week we will go deliver these presents so the hospital Child Life Department can start distributing them to patients throughout the Summer. Having been in the hospital ourselves for many many Summer days and nights, I just know that these ideas of Rowan's will be a huge hit!

and over 100 Fourth of July accessories, plus enough laundry detergent and fabric softener for 100 loads of patient laundry will be donated to the HEM/ONC Transplant wing of the hospital.

Thank you to everyone who has donated their time, efforts or money to Rowan's Foundation...
you are the reason we are able to make donations like this,
and the reason at least 300 patients and their families will have a little
brightness added to their days in the hospital this Summer.

And thank you Rowan for your bright Summer ideas.

I know they will bless the patients immensely!
